Re: Angry opposition to T2 (Optimist, Aug. 19)

Let me try to get this straight.

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority declines to consider approval for GCT Canada’s modest DP4 container port expansion while promoting its own massive Terminal 2 project. GCT takes VFPA to court for alleged bias, arguing that the projects should be considered equally and without bias.

The VFPA wins the case, pleading that it is innocent of bias, and then calls it a major victory for its Terminal 2 project. And we’ve never seen an objective comparison of the two projects.

This seems like bias to me. If it sounds like a duck and walks like a duck, it probably is a duck.

It is time to consider the facts, the data, the science, and the economy. It is time to #RejectRBT2 and choose to build a #BetterDeltaport.
